Good evening! Haven't been able to do much on my truck but wanted to start trying to get ready foe next decent day. My first question is the key is missing so which new lock cylinder would you buy. I see you can probably get one a hundred places but not sure how they will work. Since I am getting a new cylinder I might as well get a new ignition switch. Any place you recommend getting them from?
Typically, you need the key to remove the lock cylinder from the switch body without drilling and destruction. So if you don't have the key, you may find it to be time and money ahead to go ahead and get the entire kit.
I saw that they had it. Looked at other places to. Theirs was more expensive so i was wondering if it was the case of "you get what you pay for" or " your paying for the name" type of deals.

I didn't even think about needing the key to remove the cylinder. So your right will have to get the kit! So Dennis Carpenter? Or somewhere better to get these from?
I might be wrong but I think most this repop stuff all comes from the same place, so I would get whichever is cheaper. You can also get a matched set so all are the same- door(s).

That is what I was thinking that it all is the same. Everyone has the same pics on their website. Or do you think it would be better to find an OEM one that someone has?
