2013 6.7 Turbo

Hello. I have a 2013 with the 6.7 that has the oem dual compressor turbo setup. Is there anyone that has an improved bearing setup to replace the problematic oem bearing in the turbo? Thank You.

I'm not aware of any upgrade bearings you can install in your existing turbo, and when they do fail some have installed the 2015+ turbo. My '12 has 255k miles with the original turbo so I don't think its a serious issue especially in your year model truck.

If it's a 2013 and has two turbos, it has to be a deleted and tuned set up.

As to an upgrade to a 11 to 14 turbo, here's your options.

If you are just looking to replace that gen turbo, you can buy a remaned turbo with upgraded bearings (steel and not ceramic) like the 15+ have.

Or you can upgrade to the 15+ turbos... but more money since you have to buy the new pedestal and other stuff...

The early 6.7's had a dual sided turbo, nothing to see here.

Okay since this is a thread about a 13 6.7, here's an article sourced from here.

https://www.dieselworldmag.com/diese...TW4qN_YAIWUyoc

It shows what it would take to upgrade an earlier truck (11 to 14) like yours, OP, to a bigger and more reliable 15 plus turbo.

Look up Kc turbos they make a drop in kit with minimal parts needed. Their kit will drop in a stock gt37 or modified. If you are looking for hp increase you will also need to replace the cp4 with a 2015+ or a stoker pump, depends on what you are looking for. Im currently running Kc 64mm with a 10 blade turbine and a 2015+ fuel pump, on a tow tune. The difference was night and day, but since the turbo is bigger it is a little laggier. You can also look up ats performance i believe they sell a gt32 with some upgrades.
