2018 Lariat CCSB. My truck came with factory LED headlights, and I switched them out with the new Gen 2 Morimoto XB LED headlights yesterday at my local customs shop. The new lights look great, and seem to work great. The only issue is my turn signals on the instrument cluster are doing the hyper flash, as if a bulb is out. But no bulbs are out, and the turn signals on all 4 corners work properly (not fast hyper flash). Is this something that can be adjusted in Forscan? I've read on here that it can be adjusted (line 70), but that seems to be for people converting to LED from factory halogen. Mine was factory LED going to aftermarket LED. Seems like nothing should have changed, as the lights are supposed to be plug and play.
Sounds like the new lights have LED for turn signals, which have such a low draw they fool the truck into thinking a bulb is out. As you've seen, the hyperflash is in the cluster only, not on the exterior. I don't have an answer as to why this is happening if the truck was factory LED turn signals to begin with.
I don't have an updated FORScan sheet in front of me and I can't find the correct lines for the changes I made. But my truck is a 2022 so it's likely different. I do remember that what you're looking to disable are the Outage ABM sections for the turn signals in your BCM. Sorry I don't have better info for you.
Try this link for the spreadsheet for your year truck. Possibly line 71. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...s1s/edit#gid=0

Line 71 refers to the "rear turn signal conversion". The rear lights weren't touched during this process. Would changing that make a difference?

I don't think changing that setting will harm anything. Are the rear lights incandescent or were they also LED to begin with?
Couldn't seem to find anything specific for front turns. Hopefully ZooDad or one of the FORScan gurus will spot your post and jump in later.
You may have some luck by simply browsing through all the BCM lines in the "plain English" side of FORScan. Something there may pop out at you and give you a direction to turn. Just remember to write down or otherwise note any changes you make in case you have to go back in and revert.
