292 I need assistance setting timing
64, 292. I need to time it by ear and it’s been 40 years. If I read the book correctly turning the distributor clockwise advances timing, correct? And if I recall correctly I turn towards advance until it pings, then back off until it runs best, correct? Any tips? One more, I have a bum shoulder and I’m not sure if I can reach back there and loosen the tension bolt, that dude is hard to reach! Any old timers have any tips? I’ve got it running good but not great and it’s suddenly become my daily for awhile. Thanks!
