Hoping this is an easy question for someone. I'm replacing the B&O amp and speakers in my '21 F350 (Sync 3). I have a set of component speakers for the front (JL Audio C1-650). I've read a bunch of threads, but have found some conflicting information. My question is:
Are the A pillar tweeters wired to the door woofers and then both feed from the B&O amp behind the seat or are the tweeters wired directly to the B&O amp behind the rear seat, independent of the front door speakers? Or some other scenario I've not read about?
Interesting. I thought I had read that was the case for the no-B&O system. Glad I asked the question and it sounds like I’m running new wire for the tweeters. Thanks!
I just put Infinity Kappa components in my truck and replaced the stock tweeters with the Kappa tweeters and wired them directly into the factory tweeter wiring (no crossover). Sounds great! I am eventually planning amplifier upgrades in which I will run the Kappa tweeters and door mid/bass actively.
