power running boards

About a year ago I installed factory power running boards in my 2017 F-350 sd . at first I had a few problems that I was able to cure.
My problem now is that they work fine for a while, then intermittenly shut themselves off for whatever the reason.
Sometimes I can turn them back on from the dash but some time I cannot.
So I leave them alone and drive for a while and they turn themselves back on????????????????

Anyone have any suggestions..

could be as simple as moisture in a connection that’s drying out and getting wet depending on the conditions. Best of luck
