I’ve got a 2015 6.7 that been tuned with GDP tuning, running an EZ Lynk tuner.
ive found a ‘BD Diesel Ford High Idle Kit’ that’s supposed to work with my truck.
from their website: ‘This high idle kit allows the user to control the engine RPM while stationary by interfacing with the SEIC (stationary engine idle control) wiring found in all Ford Power Stroke diesel trucks (8500gvw and up)’
my question is, my GDP Tuning does not have a high idle function currently, and from my understanding, they no longer provide tunes. Would it be possible to run this high idle switch with my tuning? Or will it not work? Thanks!
here’s a link to the high idle switch I’m referencing:
Why not try this for 12 bucks and a upfitter switch

You need to find the wire bundle. It is on the driver's side behind the kick panel. Then pull the 4 wires out that match the color in the 2nd pic. The yellow/with tracer goes to the up fit switch and the other three go to the potenmeter. Just follow the configuration on the pic, then your good to mount. Set the emergency brake and turn on the up fit switch. Then you can adjust it to your desired rpm. Most have them set to about 1200 rpm. You can set the e-brake just till the light goes on turn on the switch. When you start or remote start it will kick up to what is set. Release the brake or turn off the switch to disable the function. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Also the first pic has a resistor wired in. It will be a set rpm with no adjustment. Get the adjustable one like in the 2nd picture. Send some pics for others to veiw. It shouldn't take very long to do.

awesome, thanks a lot for your time and advice! My only remaining question is whether or not it will interfere with my EZ Lynk tuner..it doesn’t sound like it should but just making sure. Thanks again!
