Low Idle?

Low Idle?

Just a quick question for someone. When I start her up, the idle falls to about 500 RPM's, and their is an ever so slight feeling that it's going to stall. It doesn't, but it bugs the hell outta me. Is there a qucik fix that I can do for this so I don't have to pay 200 bucks for some guy to tell me it's my idle set to low?

the idle on mine is 900 rpm do you have a after market throttle body

has it be reprogramed with a tuner at all was it bought used

Yeah, I bought it used about a week ago. Had to have a coil cover and spark plug replaced because they steam cleaned the engine, and ever since, it runs at a very low idle. The needle kind of bounces between 500-700 or so when I'm at a stop. I thought it would improve once they replaced the plug, but nope.

Can I mess with the idle or is it something I'm better off not messing with?

i would replace the iac it is about 40.00 sounds like they got water in it

What exactly is an "iac?" And, can I replace it myself?
