2016 F-350, how make it STOP wanting Vehicle Health Report?
I just did a search in here but didn't get anything on how to make the truck STOP trying to run a vehicle health report.
The Internet says:
Start your vehicle and put it in Park, not Accessory mode.
Press the Phone button. Phone menu displays.
Touch Settings.
Touch Advanced.
Touch Vehicle Health Report.
Touch Automatic Reports.
Touch Set Auto Reports Off.
My F-350 does not HAVE a "touch Advaned".......
So how DO I get this thing to STOP trying to run this report? I've searched the PDF manual and can't find ANYTHING on how to turn this #$%^&* thing off.
I suspect Bugzilla was serious....why doubt it? You probably didn't read your owner's manual did you?
Page 349-350 of your owner's manual tells you how to turn it on or off. No need for it to be on now since Ford/Sync disabled this feature a few years ago.
As a matter of fact, I DID read the owner's manual. And I reread the relevant portion PRIOR TO PUTTING THIS ENTRY IN THE FORUM. And I SAT in the truck in the "Phone" section WITH the manual, attempting to find the correct option...
I have NOT found any setting for "Vehicle Health". Neither in nor outside of Settings.
As you appear to have a better understanding and greater expertise than I, can you tell me how to FIND the relevant section in the "Phone" section for "Vehicle Health", as I have been unable to locate anything remotely like that or other option that would make the truck stop attempting and failing to generate this report.
