Warranty ID Card found in glove box. Help decoding?
Hey all, looking to decode a warranty ID card I found in the glove box of my 77 F150. I've got the VIN decoded already, but the rest of the info is a mystery to me (besides the F150). Any help would be appreciated! Here's the info -
F15JLY53051 X B 58
F150 4 13J G
Unfortunately, it's missing the VIN tag in the driver's door so I've been struggling confirming which options the truck came with. Hoping this warranty card will clear some of that up!
The best way to see how your truck came from the factory is to order a Marti Report. Kevin Marti has all the original paperwork from Ford.
the report includes what options were on the truck, the original selling dealer, when it was ordered, when it was built etc. www.martiauto.com
2X on what Mike said but be sure to use the VIN stamped on the frame. Marti is good but they need the correct VIN. What you found in the glove compartment may or may not correspond to this vehicle. The frame is your forever identity.
Figured I'd share some of the results I found since I finally got this done!
