66, F350 axle/chassis swap

Hello all, I have a 1966 F350 Dually and a 1976 F350 dually that’s available. My question is how easy is the body swap for the steering and breaking upgrades this will also allow me to get rid of the widow makers that are currently on the 66.

Well the cab should be a bolt on, you may have to mess with the steering column or shaft. I dropped a '65 cab on a 79 chassis.

You sure? 1966 F350 was the old cab style with the mounts like the 1966 F250 4x4. Not the same as 1966 F100/250 2WD or 1966 F100 4WD.

Ah, No then, Mine was a '65 twin I-beam, I forgot they had both cabs then. I'll shut up now.
