8th wire into (factory?) trailer light plug
Hello all, new member here.
I recently bought 2003 350, 7.3 174wb 4x4 SRW that I acquired with no box/light-side wiring plug. I made a flatdeck, cut the factory plug off and wired the lights directly.
I was in the process of doing the same to the trailer lights when I noticed an eighth wire going to the oem plug...all the wires match up to the colour codes from that year, but there is an extra dark blue wire (the stock diagram indicates this is the trailer brake controller, but there should only be one). Maybe my research skills aren't up to par but I can't figure this one out.
Any ideas?
