I need my buddy Don's signature to really illustrate this, but there simply isn't near enough information to give you an adequate answer. From what I've seen a lot of guys delete their trucks and do other modifications as well. Like lift it, bigger tires, etc. I know I did. You know what else I do? I smash the vertical pedal on the right a lot. All those things don't help mpg. You may not have any other mods or be smashing the throttle every chance you get, but how would we know? So if you want some good advice, we are going to need more than what you've posted. If you don't know what to post, I would encourage you to take your truck to a certified diesel mechanic and ask him to take a look at the truck.

What company wrote your tunes? I bought a tyrant tow tune, my truck averages 16.5 mpg and its lifted with 35 inch tires. Before i tuned it i was averaging the same 16.5. I do stomp on the throttle quiet often and im sure that does not help my mpg.
