Like the title says, I would like to see if anyone is running them and how they like them. I currently have a set of Terra Grappler G2’s on my F350 SRW work truck. They have 71,000 miles on them and are getting down to about 4/32’s witch is the lowest I can run them on the front of a commercial vehicle. Plus it’s nearly winter here... I noticed the EXO Grappler has a three snowflake rating and the Terra Grappler doesn’t, I thought the Terra Grapplers were great in the snow! I have run many sets of Michelin ATX’s and they never got more than 50,000 miles on them and they are terrible in the winter once they wore through the sipes so I am not interested in them. I have also had BFG’s and they were great in the snow but didn’t last very long. My truck is heavily loaded all of the time and I pull heavy trailers quite a bit. I will probably put the Terra Grapplers back on but I am interested in reviews of the EXO Grappler. Thank you in advance!
I’m heavily debating the Nitto Exo Grappler (285/65R20) vs Ridge Grappler (285/65R20 or 295/65R20). I have a 2018 CC 4x4 with the 6.7 and live in Western NY where we get quite a bit of snow.
I’m wondering why more people have not ran or posted about the Exo Grappler. I mostly see reviews on the Ridge Grappler. The Exo appears to be a 3 peak mountain snowflake good alternative to the Goodyear Duratrac and BFG AT KO2 and has a stiffer/stronger side wall than them. I’ve heard decent things about the Ridge Grappler in snow but how could the Exo not be better with the 3 peak rating, more sipes, and better compound? It looks pretty aggressive and would likely be comparable off road to the Ridge Grappler as well. I’m leaning towards the Exo but if there are any other thoughts or comments please share. Below are some reviews I found on other sites including Cummins. Thanks!

Been lurking for a little while since I bought a 2019, but figured this is worth a join and post. Some development knowledge on the exograppler. It was I think the initial attempt at a tweener tire, at was/is incredibly durable, and has great traction on road, off road and in winter weather. Problem is, it’s based on the trail grappler carcass so it’s stiff and heavy, and the tread pattern turned out very loud, maybe a bit louder than trail graps. All in all though, it is a seriously tough (it did some U4 testing) tire that has excellent winter traction if you can put up with mud terrain like noise. This is why I think the ridge grappler came about and has obviously become the market leader.
I ran three sets of the EXO on my Cummins trucks. I'll run them on my Ford when the time comes. I only get around 38,000 miles per set out of them, but mine are work trucks that are in quarries and mines every day. Great tires, great in the snow, and very cut resistant.

Thanks, 09FX-4 and kellycm2! 09FX-4, how loud were the tires and how do they compare to other popular models? I’ve had BFG AT KOs and Toyo ATII Xtremes... both were tolerable but in my opinion the Toyo was a little quieter.

Hey - I just had this fixed. It - for me it was a Cam Phaser issue that there is a service bulletin for. I'd already had my truck in for other minor warranty issues when they called and said that they'd heard it, got the parts in and fixed it.....
