Hey all, new member here with a 1981 C900 Fire Truck that I recently purchased. All in all it is in GREAT condition and runs, drives and pumps great. I do however need a dipstick tube for the 534 gas engine on it. I know there is a member in here who is able to locate parts, so I was hoping they could point me in the right direction.

1958/60 C series Tilt Cabs // 1961 C series Tilt Cabs before serial number 150,001 // 1961 all trucks from serial number 150,001 // 1962/81 all trucks.
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any, none on ebay.
I may have a good one on my 69 c850 parts truck, but the engine has been apart for quite a while. It will be this weekend before I can get around to checking it out.

sorry, last weekend was nuts but I got a chance to look today.
There is good news and bad news.
I do have the dipstick tube in one piece. Surprisingly it came out easily. The bad news is that it has a bit of a kink/bend in it. Also I have the dipstick itself but it’s missing the handle. Pics below.
The dipstick comes in and out of the tube OK so it should work, If it were me I think I’d use the tube as a template to make a new one.
