Easiest way to find power mirror part number on 2012 F250 Lariat?
From my research it should be this part:
BC3Z-17682-AACP
For the passenger side mirror.
The one I'm replacing is heated and powered and my truck is a Lariat.
But I seem to remember there being a variant of this that was more expensive and had some minor difference, maybe it was the king ranch version. The code above I can get for about 300, the variant I'm remembering was $1,000. Both OEM.
Is there a way to take off some part and confirm the part number of the actual passenger mirror I have on now without taking off the whole mirror?
Thanks

Check here on the Tasca website. You will need to know the options your truck has and then find them for the mirror you need.

Don't make the mistake I did - I have a 2011 F350 Lariat and bought a non-OEM mirror to save money - while it looks and operates just fine, the mirror optics suck and I'm constantly adjusting it. Mine are power, heater, telescoping. The passenger side mirror also has the outdoor air temp sensor in it which is why it costs a few bucks more than the driver side. Note that swapping the mirror is fast and easy. Even though the dealer told me you can't repair the mirror (mine stopped folding in) I had to try it myself. After i had the replacement, I attempted to take the old one apart. They were right. That thing was put together in a way that was NEVER meant to be taken apart again.
