Bad injector hunt.
Nephew just purchased a 2000 f350 it has 249000 miles on it. Low on power and making a lot of blue smoke. I have forscan and we ran a buzz test. Cylinder one sounded significantly different. Took VC off and unplugged each injector one at a time. Number one made no difference when unplugged replaced injector and that fixed the miss. Helped the smoke but didn’t get rid of it. Ran a CCT test and it called number 8 which I understand can be false. Still smokes and runs a bit rough. So what say you all how to proceed does Forscan allow you to shut down individual injectors or do I take the VC off and just manually disconnect them.

No software will let you cut out individual injectors, you'd have to make a beak-out box (I think it's called) for that. At that mileage injectors could be worn. You can check poppet clearances and shim kits are available cheap off of fleabay. There have been a couple of guys who have shimmed them and there are threads on it. I'd check that first on the driver's side injectors, since they're easiest to get at.
