Holley Help
Hey guys, I have a Holley 4160, an 1848, 465 cfm. It sat for 4 months while I changed the transmission from an auto to a manual. I changed the gaskets and blew through the primary side orifices. Had an issue eliminating a stumble, but found the right acc. pump discharge nozzle and the stumble vanished. However, after the initial take off, there is a lack of power as I gain speed and the rpms reach a certain level, then I get power. But, when I shift, the same thing happens again in the new gear.
Ideas? Is that due to too rich of an acc. pump shot?

Yes, you may be right. The built 300/4.9's really do love a nice Holley 600. But, on the other hand, I have also run a Quadrajet, and the primary side of my QJ was right around 200 cfm, not taking into account the toilet flusher secondaries.
