1952 f3 dome light wire routing

Hello, I am trying to figure out if wiring to dome light from fuse block and door switches is usually routed up cowl and window/door post and above headliner to back of cab or under carpet, up rear cab corner, above headliner to dome light. Is one way preferred over another?
Fuse block will be drivers lower firewall.

I think it took the same route as the tank sending unit wire: around the passenger door and not under the carpet.

Moved the gas tank, but i'll run it up driver's door and not under carpet. Thanks for the info, larry

That's how mine is routed. Across the dash (behind it) and up over the passenger door and across to the dome light.
