Dome Light Problems
I've got a crew cab. The dome light use to come on no matter what door opened. Over the period of about 1 year individual doors would no longer trigger the dome light to come on. Started with the driver door (of course), then the left rear, then the right rear. Now the only door that triggers the dome light to come on is the front passenger door. I replaced the driver door trigger, but that did nothing. Any other suggestions?

It will take some time but, check all of your under dash fuses. If they are good, remove the kick panels, pull each door switch, check wiring from each switch to where they merge in the wiring bundles behind the kick panels. Usually a broke wire where they twist when the switch is screwed in. If not, trace wires under the drivers side scuff plate up behind the door jam trim to the cab roof. The door switches are nothing but grounds to complete the curcuit. Good Luck.
