Look at these anti-squeek pieces that were between the seat runners and the floor and the seat runners and the seat brackets in my 55 F350. Do you think they are original ? They look like cardboard. I thought the anti-squeek was more of a thin fibrous type of material. I am putting the good ones back on and have replaced the missing ones with cereal box cardboard.
I just found some pictures of anti-squeak from my 54 seat when I took it apart and repaired it in 2016. The pics are a little fuzzy but the anti-squeak appears to be more of a fibrous woven material not cardboard. I am not sure if I saved them. Could be lying on my workbench somewhere. Now, my seat was reupholstered in 1977 shortly after I bought it. Did the shop keep the original anti-squeak or did they add new at that time?
