I used to trade in my Ford Diesels every Three Years, so I never worried about Warranties. We decided to keep the 2016 since I really like the Truck, and only have 27000mi on her. I have never Purchased an Extended Warranty on Anything before. At 36K the Bumper to Bumper Warranty dies, so we decided to get the Ford Premium 7/100K Plan. I attempted to Purchase it discounted from Flood Ford, and was informed that I can only Purchase it from a Florida Dealer by Florida Law. I investigated this and found it to be true. In Florida it must be Purchased in State at the MSRP. So now I have a great Warranty that cost almost $1000 more
In all the above advice, I have not seen whnat I consider to be the best, simplest and most effective:

Then, having sent that off in the mail, hand the salesman a courtesy copy ... or not ... it is no longer in his hands and he has nothing to say. If there is a tangle about when and from whom the refund comes, so be it. You will get it sooner or later because you have exercised your statutory right to a refund.
I don't recommend ESP's to anyone. Others differ but for my money you can repair a lot of stuff before you get your moneys worth from a ESP. I would however check for the oil pan leak and get it fixed as soon as possible. Looks like your truck sits more than it's driven. Get that sucker out and hit the rode.
