I bought my truck with no extended warranty and now i see a TV ad for US FIDELIS extended warranty and my truck fall into teh bumper to bumper warranty were i can be covered till 135k and my truck only has 51k on it. the warranty contract would be $2138 or i can do a 24month payment of $84. I know my wifes car we bought with an extended warranty and that contract was $1500 but has anyone dealt with US FIDELIS or know anyone who has?
thanks
Gary
If you must buy a Warranty, only buy the Ford ESP. The other companies are usually fly by night and are very selective about what they will/will not cover.
The Ford ESP is:
cheaper
dealership only has to put VIN in...you have no paperwork
you pay the $50,$100 deductible and that's it. nothing else
when work is completed, you pick up truck and go home
other companies:
usually have to pay up front for repairs
dealerships will usually hold vehicle hostage until warranty pays out
cost more for = or less coverage
I got a third party extended warranty from my dealership from AUL warranties(Welcome to AUL) Mine has no deductable. And the dealership takes care of all the paperwork. I used it already and it was as simple as taking my car to the dealership like i normally would to get worked on. Just a thought.
thanks a bunch i found the ford esp after a few hours researching and thats what i will be going with $1650 for 4yr/48k and pretty much covers it all....
Use the search for the ESP and you will find a dealer in New England who will beat anyone's price on the Ford ESP. I believe his name is Ken, and there are many people on this forum who have purchased from him.
Sorry -------- wrong name! The salesman is Troy Dietrich, and you can call him for a quote at 413-773-5444. If you scroll thru the forums to the General forum; car/truck buying advice, you will see where his information is under Warranty........
