I am parking as far away from the oaks at my place as possible, but I don't have too many options. I have 3 dings in the hood on an otherwise unbmished truck.
How difficult is it to fix these? Can they be fixed at home? Is a professional the way to go.
Also looking for someone interested in some fire wood....

You could try parking it in the sun and let it get good and hot (or you can use a heat gun but be careful), then put some dry ice on the dings. This will pull out some (but not all) small dings.
I had the same on my 2012 from a branch at a campground falling. I took a rubber mallet and from underneath, I rolled the rounded side of the mallet back and fourth across the bottom of the small dent with moderate pressure. Took me a while but I got it out.
Aren't the new SD bodies aluminum ???? They will dent so much easier from small things. Just might wish they stayed with the steel body panels. Have buyers seen this with the F-150's that went aluminum a few years ago ???
Actually, the aluminum of the 17's is harder to dent. Steel is much more pliable than aluminum. This is the same reason that many panels now have to be replaced instead of repaired after an accident. No massaging aluminum back into shape.
I have a small dent in my 2012 hood from the elbow of a Tire Rotation tech while he replaced my Windshield Wipers. I knew he struggled with removing the old set as he had to get some help. Theses hoods dent very easily.
