1953 F250 Disk brake conversion + ring/pinion swap
I picked up a 1953 F250 and have been tearing it down for a rat build.
My first order of business is the front brakes. Ive dug though the forums and made some phone calls but I can not come to a consensus, so here it is
Are the spindles on the F150 the same as the F250 and can they accept a conversion kit like these?

obviously replacing the master cylinder and putting in a proportioning valve.
second; is there any way to put in a new ring and pinion gear to replace the 4.86 gears; or should i just put a new rear axle in?

On the CD there are PDFs of the text and illustration manuals. I just copied them to my hard drive so I could access them quicker without fumbling for the CD.
