New (for me) 1999 Navigator - Looking for Suggestions!
It started a bit of a mess... as soon as I left the dealership (I use that term lightly) ... I realized I needed to stop for a USB adapter for the cigarette lighter. I stopped, locked the door, bought my adapter and learned the key that started the car didn't work on the door. Theoretically, they are going to fix that for me.
So, it gets worse before it gets better... the test drive went fine but I got on the freeway and it died. Like, power steering and gas acceleration gone... radio, A/C all good.
Once again the guys come... get it going by having the ignition in place and putting a metal object on one bolt near the back of the engine area... then hitting the other side... then viola.. it worked.
Again, all good. Less than a mile later, it happened again... they came back ... I didn't know what they'd done and this is when they explained and left me with a wrench lol.
Less than a mile from a friends house I barely made it.
Haha, once when it died... I forgot to put it in park... that could have been a lot worse.
Had it towed back to the place i bought it so that's all good.

That's all just background.
It was missing one of the covers for the lugnuts so I just ordered that...
Also ordered a key fob...

Kinda looking for any ideas or feedback as I start driving this new car!
ALSO --- super looking for ideas for seat covers for driver and passenger seat.

Hope this was a good intro.

I get it back tomorrow, they've had it for 2 weeks since I got it... lol starting to wonder if they are gonna hang on to it for 30 days and wait out their promised "30 day warranty"
... but assuming this works out, wanted to join the community!
