T45 to 5.0

I drive a 91 f150 and the current trans is about to give out. My uncle thankfully has a t45 out of a 1998 mustang GT he's not going to use. The problem is I've read some things that say they don't have an adapter plate that'll fit and some saying they do make one. Any info will help

That's a whole bunch of work to put that trans in a truck. If you have a manual just find another m5od its will be world's easier.

Kolby.. you're not seeing the big picture. First of all you need an adapter plate to mate the trans to the engine.. $$$, then a different trans cross member.. you might get lucky here it's a pretty simply part so who knows. But that is it for the easy stuff. You will definitely need a custom shift linkage because the car shifter is on the tailshaft while the truck shifter is in the body of the trans near the belhousing. And it's a near certainty you will need a custom driveshaft. Clutch hookup could be straight forward but even a slight difference in the fluid line fitting might require a custom part there too. Bottom line is there is no way you're putting that trans in there cheaper or quicker than another M5OD.

The 1998 Mustang was a 4.6 motor. You are working with a 5.0/302 motor. Bell patterns are different and this is an integral bell trans. Adapter? Would require a machined front plate and a new bell as well. I can't find a plate but I found all this looking:

TREMEC T-45 Transmission -Modern Driveline

Rebuilt T-45 Transmissions in Atlanta Georgia

Serving suggestion: Sell that T45 to a Mustang owner and repair or replace your current trans, or go with a different Tremec, ZF or other fine brand of transmission.

It'll cost way more than a Trans swap from this Era truck for the reasons above.
