Electrical issue...I think..

Hi all, new here, terrific forum btw!
I currently own a 2000 Expy 4.6l XLT with unfortunately a very rotted frame (New Yorker here), she's got over 230k motor runs beautiful but tranny is starting to slip and has torque converter shudder...low on funds but love the truck so...I found a 2001 Expy SSV (Bottom of the line service vehicle) with a 5.4l 120k excellent frame...here's the issue: the lady who had it backed up (supposedly) into her well and the truck shut off (inertia switch), they reset it, and now all sensors are on, when you hook it up to a scanner almost every code for the transmission and EVAP system pulls up, none for the motor. It will run rough, smooth out, have no power and then going into gear is questionable if she doesn't stall out. My goal is to swap from the old to the new (because of the frame issue on my old one)...I'm thinking I should get the PCM flashed and go from there...any suggestions? The great thing is I got the truck for under $300...prior to it's incident the lady and husband claimed the truck ran great and they loved it but due to this issue they went and bought another Expy (newer 07)... Suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can we assume you've cleared the codes to make sure they're not old ones and then took a new scan?

Thanks for the reply. Yes the codes were cleared and with the next start they come right back. Which is why I'm thinking before I go taking things apart, pulling this sensor that part etc...maybe having the PCM flashed may help? I don't want to to dump too much money into the truck and replace stuff that may not need replacing.

How will flashing (re-programming) the PCM change anything?

and now all sensors are on, when you hook it up to a scanner almost every code for the transmission and EVAP system pulls up, none for the motor. It will run rough, smooth out, have no power and then going into gear is questionable if she doesn't stall out.
What does "all sensors are on" actually mean?

What were the EXACT codes?

Did you check the fuse for all those sensors and the transmission? It's probably blown....
