Does anyone know if a new starter for a modern 5.0 will fit a 1969 302 with a c6

Starters for manual transmissions have a shorter 'snout' length than starters for an automatic transmission.

302? 5.0?

A modern modular 5.0 uses a 3 bolt pattern and is metric and smaller in diameter in relation to the dust shield centering hole. If that is what you are asking about.
