I doubt I'm going to be able to remove the bars without snapping the bolts. Are the bolts replaceable? I haven't taken them off yet, they've been soaking in PB Blaster.
I have broken my share. They are available (sort of). I think it was C and G ford parts but others offer them. They have a square 'head' that is too large to fit into the back of the bar. I have put them in the vise and ground the flats until they fit. Better yet I bought some 1/8 x 1/2 flat stock and some 10-24 machine screws and welded the screws into a row of holes and them chopped them off. I make them about an inch long but the stud needs to be close to one end. Then there are the 3 middle ones that are wider. I think I used fender washers and ground a couple flats onto them. Hope this helps. Be aware the reproduction sets of jailbars don't fit very well. They don't follow the curve at the top of the grille panel.
It's inevitable, you'll snap some. Like GB said, you can make some up, or buy some universal trim clips. You'll see what they look like once you remove the bars, they aren't anything fancy or specific to these trucks.
