The question I have is the screws that connect the step bars to the brackets, they are kind of a t shaped, the screws slide into the step bar and then you put the nut on to connect to the bracket, Westin only supplied 8 of these which is 2 for each bracket, even though there are 4 holes for the screws. Is there any way I could get screws like this or do i have to call westin??? What are they called???
They look like this

sorry if the pic is messed up hopefully you'll get what im trying to draw, the board won't let me space them to line it up
I'm guessing here - but since the t bracket mounts and the bar slides onto the t bracket - could the other holes be for spacing the bars? Meaning you can move the bar in/out to adjust for the body of the vehicle?
I don't know what type of screw comes with them, but I'm sure you can get them somewhere. Usually a Tru Value hardware store has a wide variety of bolts, etc. I have found many specialty bolts at them. I ahve also bought some custom bolts and chrome bolts from Harley Davidson dealerships.
If you don't find them, I'm sure if you called Westin, they would send you more.
I think the extra holes are just for screws, i'll take a look in a store ill just feel stupid not knowing a name for them if someone ask if i need help. lol
I would just call Westin and get them to send you more. I doutb they will even question you about it. Just tell them your kit did not come with enough bolts and nuts...
I doubt they won;t send them to you. If they don't, try True Value. Like I said, they usually have a great assortment. If they don't, email me a pic and size you need. I have a place locally I know I can get them at for you...
alright i finally got a chance to talk to Westin today and they are sending me 8 more t-head bolts, i didn't ask for the cap nuts thinking it would be too obvious. I'm sure finding nuts to fit them are easier than finding those bolts themselves...thanks for your help cobraxp
Most companies I have dealt with will help you out in cases like this. They know you can return the product because it is missing parts just as easy as them sending you the missing things, so to keep the customers happy, they will take care of you.
