door adjustment

does anybody have tips on how to adjust a front door?
my drivers door is slightly misadjusted. the bottom, at the gap, sticks out a bit, and the top of the door is depressed a bit. the top needs to come out, the bottom needs to go in.

help would be appreciated.
thanks

Make the dealer do it. I have seen a few examples of early builds with poor door fit. If you make the adjustments and end up damaging paint or the door latch, the dealer will NOT cover under warranty. Let them do the trial and error, and all of this will be covered under warranty.

Mine needs adjusted too. Rattles when I hit a big bump and I can see from the outside the door drop just a hair when I open it. Seems to be "a thing" with these aluminum bodied trucks.

the door adjusts with 2 bolts, one on each hinge that screw into the door. there is a lot of adjustability in them. it is a pain in the rear to get it done. 😕 the door moves very easily vertically, horizontally, and front to back. it is very easy to make the gaps too close at the front of the door and cause a bind and to do the same at the rear
i got it close, but i think i will take it to the shop to have it done better

There's an old mod that eliminates door rattle and wind leaks. Have you heard of the door seal mod?

This is my biggest complaint about my truck. Rattling doors! Drives me crazy. Taken it to the dealer multiple times, they even replaced the door latches under warranty. Still the same. I've owned 17 Fords and this may be the reason I switch to a Fiat (Ram trucks (wife has had 3)). Ford's lack of quality control and general disregard for owner's of $70K+ trucks is disappointing. If they want to have the best selling truck for 43 or 44 years, they need to get their act together.

Nice video. That's the same basic fix that we used back in the 80s on Ramcharger rear hatches.

Have any of you guys used this mod on a 17+? There isn’t a detached seam on my weatherstripping. I can tell where Ford connected the two ends but I wanted to see if you guys where having to cut yours before I did that
