I'm looking for some info...I have a 68 Ranger 4x4 short box. It was built in Canada per the VIN. I can't find any production numbers on this truck. Hagerty actually said there were no short box's built?? I'm wondering if anyone knows how unique this combo is or where I can find numbers..I looked on the ford site and it stated N/A.

One "wrench" in your pursuit of info is that it is Canadian and I'm not sure about the data available but Marti Auto Works is in possession of Ford's production data from back in the day. You'll have to order one of the reports offered to get production and configuration numbers.

Just because it was assembled in Canada (5th digit of the VIN is a C = Oakville Ontario) does not mean it was sold new in Canada.
Look on the 3rd line...far right of the Warranty Plate for the DSO code, post what it is.
If you wish, either post a pic of the Warranty Plate, or post all the codes from it, as once decoded, this will verify the 4WD and wheelbase status....and etc.
btw: Marti has ALL the 1967/79 FoMoCo records. He got 'em in the late 1980's when he found out FoMoCo was planning to THROW THEM AWAY!
