It looks like they were trying to bypass the mega-fuse. If there was enough current to blow the 175 amp fuse that wire would vaporize right after. It looks like it was shunting enough current past the fuse to toast the wire. Looks like they were just adding in a fire hazard.

So ,take the wire out like my friend told me to do it.
I will replace the fuse(it's cheap),like my said too,I will take out the wire.The original owner must done that,putting wire there.It is a 97 and I had it for 16 years.ty
