Sask License Plates

Hey fellas,

Here's a topic I'm very unfamiliar with, so I'm doing a shout-out for some advice.

I've got a box of my grandpa's license plates.. 1940's to 1980's.

I think I have a pair for every year (so 80 or more in total). One was clearly on the front of the vehicle (bug guts, small dents, etc), one was likely never mounted (near mint, some just in very good shape).

Now the question... What are Sask antique plates worth?

Some have the "Farm" ("F") designation in the plate, I have 1 pair that's the "Commercial" ("C") designation, but the majority are just a regular plate (Example: "110-768").

What years of plates are valuable?

Do I have to keep the pair to maintain the worth of these plates (sell as pair or sell individually?... IF I'm selling)?

I know nothing about these plates, other than the fact that some of them seriously look like they've never seen the outdoors.

Comments/questions welcomed.

I have bought a few plates at swap meets. The prices I have seen are some where between $10 and $20. All depends on condition from what I have seen.

Felt like doing something a little constructive with my time tonight.

Will slowly work through the rest of the plates as I get some time this week.

Those plates look to be in pretty good shape.
