I just want to mention how pleased I am with my new 2016 F250. Although I have only put 6K mi on her so far, it has been problem free. With the gearing and tires the same as my previous 2011, the 16 gets 1.5 better MPG than the 11, under the same driving conditions. We will be taking a 4K mi road trip soon, and I can't wait to get some serious drive time on her.

I'm glad to hear that you love your new rig, Nipperdog; she's a beauty!
You sure you posted a pic of the new one? Man, that Blue Jeans color gets me.
This past Sunday I was at the Ford store, (only on Sunday to avoid the vultures) and the Blue Jeans blue I was staring at really looked blue. Yours looks black in that lighting.
All the new colors seem to have that effect of looking different based on lighting.
Great looking ride - what's the average mpg you're getting?
fzrider I went from an 04 PSD to a 16 and they are light years apart. Just the front end alone will sell you on the 16! The new trucks are a wonder of technology compared to the 6 liter 04's and the comfort level is awesome. You are right about the colors shifting in the sun mine is platinum white but sometimes it looks blue in the sun. Good luck with your truck hunting!

17.5 around town, just under 20 on the Hwy.
This photo shows the Blue better. It depends how the light hits it.
Sharp looking...real sharp. Sure reminds me of my '04 F250 6.0 XLT Crew 4x4. Big blue is missed........I forget what the blue was called then...I have the window sticker somewhere, i'd have to check.
Any particular reason you traded so soon other than it looks like it was time, based on your signature? last of the steel trucks!
I've had my '06 F150 since '08...bought it with like 14k on the odo and its been flawless, mostly, in the 100K I've put on it. I used to be a regular trader every 4 or 5 years, I'd scratch the itch. I've been buying everything else since then, so replacing the truck kept getting bumped down the list...couple motorcycles and new car for the wife a couple years ago and before you know it, the truck is 10 years old.

That Ida beautiful rig! I think these trucks sell the paint, I mean every time I see what shinning , no matter the color o think , hey that's a nice lookin truck.
Congrats on your new truck!
I know how you feel. I recently upgraded from a 2009 F150 Lariat Crew Cab to my 2016 F350 Lariat, 6.7 litre Crew Cab long bed in the metallic white, so far am loving it. Last weekend I was pulling my 20' utility trailer with a 2000 lb load getting better mileage with cheaper fuel. It felt like I was pulling nothing more than a kite.
Just this evening I got a compliment from another truck owner (Nissan Frontier) about my truck. He also said he felt like he was driving a Tonka truck compared to it. I chuckled, and thanked him for the compliment.
