Has anyone seen the new 250 color - Island Blue?

I noticed that the old hunter green color is no longer available. It was kind of blue/greenish.

The new island blue color sheet I saw at the dealer looks kind of blue/greenish also.

But I can't tell how close the new island blue will be to the old hunter green. It's impossible to tell with that 1-inch square color sheet. I like the old hunter green, but don't want to risk ordering the island blue with out some type of assurance that it won't look too funky.

Has anyone seen island blue? Please reply asap as I have already ordered a truck in wedgewood blue (to be on the safe side), but think I might like the new color better.

I was considering the new Harvest Gold until I saw Island Blue -- I'm now ordering Island Blue over Gold. It's beautiful. More of a greenish blue -- very difficult to describe but looks great, especially with the Harvest Gold two tone.

I have a 99 Explorer with Deep Wedgewood Blue; there's no comparrison.

My dealer had one in already in island blue. I didn't look too close cause I didn't like it. I don't think there's any green at all in it - it's more of a powder blue or light turquoise - hard to describe. One of the most depressing things about ordering a 250 is the poor color selection and two tone combination. For the money, you'd think Ford would give you any color you want. I ordered a 99 F250 in hunter green/silver in May - it got cancelled and had to order a 2000 but hunter green's been deleted. Ordered it on July 19 and have yet to get a build date. Since I wanted two tone, I went with Black and Silver, but if I were to pick a blue, I'd stick with wedgewood. Just my opinion.

 

Just picked up my 250 SD CC with island blue over harvest gold. I ordered it on chance it was going to be an eye stopper. It is, it looks blue until in sunshine or bright light, then green shows through. Reminds me of the Dupont chromalusion paint use on race cars. It's beautiful, and I've got so many compliments I lost count. The choice really goes to my wife, who has great taste in color selection. Hope you have time to change your order if you want this color.
