302 C-4 Mavrick combo

I have a chance to pickup a complete engine out of a Mavrick. Rumor has it that this engine/ trans combo has a smaller bell housing than most C-4s.
Anyone out there with experience putting one into an F-1?

Not likely it is the smaller BH, that was when the 260/289 first came out in '63-'64. 5 bolts vs 6 bolts
