302 to c4 trans question

302 to c4 trans question

I am currently trying to figure out what I need to get a c4 trans to work with a 302. I can't get anybody to get me the right parts. I am in need of a torque convertor and flexplate. Oh and the starter.

My 302 is a 79 model and the c4 is a 74 model. Don't know the size of the bell housing. Any help from those who have achieved this feat would be appreciated.

well isnt the imbalance on that year 302 28oz? so you should be able to get the necessary flexplate from an 60/70s mustang for example. same goes for the TC. the bell housing should also match up.
