Can some one( I know you can cause I've seen how this place works) give me direction or advice on how to adjust the driver side door on my 53 f-100? It closes and latches but it is not right.

The guide stub looks low? Is it the door sagging down? If that's fine, just adjust the striker plate down.
Like Ray said it needs lube but based on what I see I would pull that nasty thing out of the door, clean real good, lubricate, and re-install . Then let us know how it works, a little more description than "it ain't right". Does it feel loose, back and forth play, up and down play, comes un-latched, etc...you get my drift.

I dont feel any play in the door at all but if I lift it up it closes correctly. When shutting the door normally it sounds like it is hitting something solid, thus the picture of the door latch hitting too low on the striker. I will definately lube both doors but thats not going to stop the uneveness of the door. Is there some adjustment on the hinges? I dont see any on the latch of the door or the frame. It will latch when closing but not all the way, you got to slam it pretty hard and it stays shut.

There is adjustment both at the hinges and and the cab side of the the latch. If you can lift the door and all is well it sounds like you have some slop in your hinges. You can try to adjust it out or you may need to rebuild the door hinges with new pins.
