I wonder if FTE could be convinced to change the classifieds so that if you are looking for a part for say the 32-47 trucks one could look in that section instead of having to look in the current section having to fish for ads in those years? Has anyone asked about this before?
You mean break it down kind of like the forums? For example, '47 & Older, '48-56, etc? You can already set search for that. Open an ad, box to the left, says "Parts Search", at the bottom of that box pull down the menu that says " Show all search options ", you'll see a box to check fits '47 and older. Hope this helps.

So 2 things I noticed about the classifieds among others. 1st, One only has a drop down box that starts from 1950. Second, nothing shows up for our older trucks when I start trying other years. You think nobody is posting for our old iron? And what if the categories don't make sense for the buyer or seller?
When I was trying to sell my '40 1 1/2 cab and chassis I went through all these same issues. Here is the thread with the response I received about the classifieds: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...assifieds.html
About the only forums I ever had any luck selling on was the HAMB. Fordbarn should be ok, both of those get a lot of activity in the classifieds. I never even bother to look at them here, it's a ghost town.
