Rear Tank Filler Tube.
Somewhere along the line the filler hose extension (3/4 inch rubber hose that goes into the tank) was broken. The hose extension is visible and broken right at the end of the filler metal tube. I priced a replacement "yikes" 160 to 200 bucks for this part. Does anyone have a repair or suggestion as how to proceed? Fuel would still run out the filler hose and into the tank, but Ford put this in there for a reason so I'd like to replace the rubber/plastic hose as opposed to just putting things back together with this short filer tube. Thanks.
