As I sit here,I consider myself lucky,I beat the grim reaper and wound up getting my first stint in my artery to my heart, stopping a what a doctor called a widow-maker. A few weeks of recovery and I'm going to make the things that matter in my life more of a priority and my job a less of one. I've got to get my eggs all into one basket and get my vacation plans with my family under way for this year.......finish my truck and camper and see the good olde U.S.A. I've got the knowledge and the capital just never can make the time, well I'm making the time now, cause it's soooo short. Ya just never know when it's up!
Wow............not many folks can say they lived to see a widow maker.
Sounds like you have the right idea there, you never know when you might be called to answer to the big guy, glad your on the mend!
I got to get a few more parts, wife is putting a damper on work for awhile.I think I'm going for a total rebuild along with the truck. She said I have to come first thou
Glad you got fixed. When my dad finally went to the hospital while having a heart attack he was already inoperable. He survived it but was clogged from head to toe. He made it 10 years after but only about 4 or so with no problems. The rest was rough. Your plans for moving ahead are exactly on point!!
My dad had the same thing but they change the artery from his leg. First time went well, second time many years latter he had complications. You got a good sense of what you want, go for it. I'm going to start mine as well. Mine is with cancer I had that seems to be okay now. God bless,
So glad to hear you're still with us. Probably better listen to the wife and heal before diving in. I've used my nine lives and then some. Made it thru a year of getting shot at like a duck hunt and rockets coming in the chow hall, and living on a dart board in Iraq for a year unscathed, only to come back home and have the only engine in a single engine helicopter fail at 1200 feet. Broke my back and was told I'd never walk again. Good thing I'm hard headed. Took a few years to learn it again and it ain't pretty but I get around. I went stir crazy for 2-3 years but I did listen to the docs on taking it easy to heal. Made me appreciate what family I had and things I took for granted. I hope you continue to recover and have many more years with your family and truck!
Glad your doing well Per4ormance. Hope your recovery goes well. Work and maintenance on the 6.0 will wait enjoy life and habpve as much fun as you can!
