Has anyone been able to successfully use a 73-79 2WD stock Mid ship tank(saddle tank) on the Highboys, specifically a 1975 highboy?
I see all the 2WD tank bits and pieces available at various places online as well as being able to locate used parts locally.
Curious if anyone has tried it and as to what mods would likely be required.
Thanks

When you say saddle tank, do you mean the usual tank behind the rear axle or the optional tank between the cab and the rear axle. 4 x 4s were still using seat tanks in '75 if I'm not mistaken. Never saw one that far back with a midship tank. I'm buying a '77 that has the after axle tank but I plan to put a 33 gallon Bronco tank in its place. Did that on my '74
Thanks
The correct name is mid-ship tank; I was meaning the tank between the in cab tank which my 75 has and the rear most tank which my 75 does not have
Sorry for any confusion.

The question I have is, I see some 4x4 trucks with the mid ship tank. Why don't I see that in LMC. Oh never mind I just found it. I guess I didn't look hard enough.
