Front Tires Rubbing

About two weeks ago my front tires started rubbing. I've been running the same size tires as long as I've owned this truck, and the PO ran the same size too. The rub is more noticeable when turning up an incline, but I've heard/felt the run on flat ground too. What would cause this "out of the blue"? Are my springs wearing out? FYI...I replaced the shocks less than a year ago, and bought the tires in March.

I don't know but I'd check it all. Springs, u-bolts ball joints, hubs, etc.. Seems something has to be loose or worn out. Did you use the same brand tire this time? And what size?

How are they rubbing? At full lock on the springs, or is it partial turn rubbing at the rear of the fenderwell?

My guess with over 300k miles on your rig, would be severely worn and/or broken spring leafs. Especially since this just started happening, when it didn't happen before.

I'm running Michelin 285/75/16, and have been for at least 8 years. I checked hubs and ball joints last Friday. All seemed fine. I have not specifically looked for broken leafs, but the ride hasn't changed, and I don't have any noises coming from the front end. I've shut off the motor while rolling multiple times, and haven't been able to hear anything. The rub is at full lock. Tires are rubbing on the back side, on the wheel well liner, and like I said, it's more prevalent when turning hard on an incline, ie. turning up a parking garage ramp. I'll check the u-bolts.

Maybe tire pressure change?
When I take mine in for service, the guys automatically re-set my tire pressures. I check mine weekly anyway (OCD) and I always have to put 'em where I like 'em.
