Tow Boss MPG

This was our mileage non tow mpg. Our tow mpg was 10.3 towing 13K

What has yours been?

With 13,824 miles I had just finished a trip of 787 miles and averaged 15.95 non towing. With 15,590 miles a trip of 1,700 miles towing a large toy hauler at 17,000 pounds averaged 8.97.

This is about what I get too. Now that WI bumped their speed limits up to 70 mph, thank you Scott Walker, mpg is a little lower.

Each year Ford makes a few magical trucks for some members of FTE. I don't post enough to earn one of the special trucks but some lucky members of FTE see 20mpg on their trucks. A very few, 20+. These members will be along soon with pictures, they like to brag.

Forgot to add this was freeway driving at 70.

If I had 331 rear end instead of 430 I would be 20 mpg also. Need the power

Yup!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On a good day, I can get 15-16 MPG when empty...............
but then, with 3.73 gears and DRW, when I hook on to a trailer and go drive up some mountains......
