hey guys i am new to tis site and new to owning a ford truck i have a 2000 f250 lariat the oil is going into the coolent now i was told that i got a oil cooler my engine size is a 5.4 v8 just wondering where it is located on the engine

 

is any coolant getting into the oil? rising oil level is usally the indicator
Any white smoke with a sweet smell?

 

Yes the cap on the engine when has the same color as the violent and yes there is smoke but not when it's warm out side

 

Would any one know where it's located

 

the oil cooler thing is on the driver side. Its what the filter screws on to.
