I'm ready to start upgrading my lighting. What sources do you recommend for cool replacement headlights. Saw a few with glowing rings and LED strips... Thanks.
If you want the best, have Black Flame Customs retrofit your existing housings with LS460 projectors and Morimoto ballasts. The aftermarket housings are not in the same ballpark...
i don't know what your skills are but id suggest getting a new set of oem lights from eBay or another source and retro fitting some projectors and leds as much or as little as you see fit. I'm in the process of building some myself
I don't know if these will show if you aren't on instagram. Or just google 'plainansimple instagram', or 'ecotint instagram', and you should find a link of pictures they are tagged in.
I don't think my current truck will get anything, but a colour matched set of heads, fogs, tails, and 3rd brake light will come from one of these guys on the 2017. I'm sure price will turn lots away, but these guys cover the majority of SEMA builds the past couple years - it isn't quite a scotch brite rattle can job. They aren't all-or-nothing builders either, offering stock retrofits or a little bit of paint matching all the way up to the examples I linked.
I just installed a set of Spyder projector headlights with led halo lights and a line of led lights along the bottom. Easy install and fit like factory. Made a nice change to my stock truck.

I drove around town last night, and though it wasn't that dark, they appeared to work a little better than factory. I'll be installing a headlight harness kit, which should decrease the voltage drop the factory setup has. I had that on my '99 with aftermarket lights and it made a big difference.

Those look really nice... I am hoping for some comparitive pictures to stock and reports of use on the highway...
