Hey Guys, I'm looking at picking up an '05 Excursion that has some slight damage here and there if it's not too bad. Can you help me identify what the name of the part is that's hanging off below the bumper? I have no idea what it's called, the black "brush guard" piece that looks like it was 90% torn off when driving over something.
Just from the pictures, it looks like a separate piece from the lower bumper that seems fairly easy to replace if I can get my hands on a new one. Any idea what that piece may cost so that I can factor it into my offer? And anyone ever replace one of those that can confirm it's held on by just a few clips?
front bumper valance. around 35 bucks should be clips or maybe a couple screws on the ends and middle. CarID.com has an aftermarket one for $33.90. factory part # 5C3Z17626AAA not sure what that would cost though.
Too bad Apoc, that did sound like a hell of a deal. But since you don't have one I guess if I get the truck I'll have to resort to Amazon. Here's the OEM replacement for anyone interested. Avitech was pretty close, it's $43 shipped to your front door.
