So I recently saw a garbage truck with a pretty wicked bumper on it, and always wanted the same thing, so I checked my local truck sale place and they have the exact same ones I'm looking for. Went and got a couple pictures and made a mockup out of plywood before I cut my damn expensive sheet of steel.
That's pretty nice, I think if it were me, I'd put another pass down each side of the existing welds to fatten them up then grind the welds down to smooth them out, I think it would make it a little more aesthetically pleasing to see.

That's just a plywood mockup painted black to get some ideas of what the finished product will look like. It is 9 inches in width, I was thinking about going 10 and protruding the bumper out 2 inches more, what do you think?
